Richard Banks, Director, Emerging Markets, Euromoney Conferences said that Egypt has returned strongly to the global economic arena after its new administration took several decisions that are critical for the country’s economic reforms.
Speaking to the Euromoney Egypt Conference that kicked off today in Cairo, Banks said that, despite the actual changes in Egypt’s economic trends, such changes are slowly being carried out.
However, Egypt enjoys huge investment opportunities, as 200 investors and representatives of global institutions attended this year’s conference, a number nearly double that of last year, which is a strong indicator for the recovery of the Egyptian economy, the top official stated.
