Ms Keiko Honda, Executive Vice President and Chief Executive Officer, Multilateral Investment Guarantee Agency - World Bank Group, said that Egypt shows opportunities for investments, adding that MIGA World Bank can help mitigate risk of moving first.
Speaking on the sidelines of Euromoney Egypt Conference that was inaugurated today in Cairo, Honda added that Egypt has a strong economy, especially at the start of a new phase of political stability.
Foreign investors shelved their plans for Egypt after the uprising and awaited stability, the official said, adding that investors are confident in Egypt’s investment climate but they need restructuring of legislations and laws regulating investments.
