Minister of Trade and Industry Mounir Fakhry Abdel Nour started a visit to Belarus on Wednesday 17/9/2014 after successful talks in Moscow, according to State Information Service (SIS). According to a statement released by the Ministry of Trade and Industry, Abdel Nour reached an agreement during his talks in Moscow to start measures related to resuming negotiations about a free trade zone between Egypt and the Euro-Asian bloc grouping Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan. According to the statement, his visit to Belarus is meant to promote trade relations between Egypt and the bloc member-States and tapping new markets for Egyptian exports. During the visit, the two sides will sign a protocol of cooperation in several domains, added the statement.
