The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) sold in an auction Thursday 182- and 364-day treasury shares at a total value of EGP 7billion.
EGP3 billion worth of 182-day T-bills were sold at an average yield of 12.199%. Maximum and minimum yields amounted to 12.219% and 12.149% respectively. The issue was covered 2.2 times.
Meanwhile, EGP 4 billion worth of 364-day T-bills were sold at an average yield of 12.524%. Maximum and minimum yields reached 12.560% and 12.350% respectively, while the issue was covered 1.86 times.
