Head of the Suez Canal Authority (SCA) Mohab Mamish said that Russia is planning to launch new investment projects in the Suez Canal Axis development.
Speaking in a meeting with Egyptian scientist Dr. Ahmed Zewail who paid a visit to the Suez Canal project, Mamish said the number of workers in the new canal reached 25,000.
He added that the new canal will boost Egypt’s economic and will also bolster the country’s political position.
For his part, Zewail said he discussed with SCA Head contributing to the Suez Canal development project through providing technical assistance and positive participation according to the project’s needs.
Zewail also highlighted the tremendous turnout for the Suez Canal certificates by nationals.
