Minister of Industry and Trade Mounir Fakhry Abdel Nour co-chaired with Belarusian Minister of Trade Valentin Chekanov a second round of talks of a joint trade committee, according to State Information Service.
Abdel Nour told the inaugural session that this meeting has been late for ten whole years, asserting the Egyptian government's keenness on promoting economic cooperation to prompt a qualitative shift in trade exchange and joint investments for the benefit of the two countries' peoples.
Abdel Nour noted that the committee's talks would mainly focus on reactivating cooperation in the fields of agriculture, trade, industry, transport, scientific research and SMEs as well as in the organization of exhibitions and conferences and the exchange of expertise.
