Mohab Mamish, Head of Suez Canal Authority (SCA) announced on Sunday that 25% of digging works were completed in the new Suez Canal, saying this is a record time for such unprecedented accomplishment.
Speaking to a marine conference, Mamish said he was delighted at the tremendous turnout received by Suez Canal investment certificates.
Mamish also assured the Egyptian people that work in the projects is proceeding around the clock with the aim of achieving the target of completing the project in one year.
