Social Fund for Development (SFD) secretary Hanaa Halali announced that the fund will sign a unique agreement with the UAE’s Khalifa Fund for $200 million.

This is a first of its kind financing agreement for the Khalifa Fund, which does not finance projects outside the UAE, Hilali said at the Money and Finance Conference, adding that the funds will target micro enterprises in the poorest villages across Egypt.
