Telecom Egypt announced that coupon No. 12 will be paid at 5 cent per share to shareholders of record till the close of trading on September 29.
The dividend distribution will be effected as of October 2 via Misr for Central Clearing, Depository & Registry (MCDR).
The company’s ordinary general meeting had approved on Monday, September 8, the proposed cash dividend for FY14 profit at 5 cent per share.
Accordingly, shareholder dividends will amount to $85.3 million, while employee share in profit will reach $9.5 million.
The telecom firm posted EGP 1.5 billion net profit for H1-14, with a fall by 12% compared with EGP1.7 billion in the same period a year earlier.
