According to a statement issued by the Central Bank of Iraq (CBI), a total of $205.33 million was sold at a price of IQD 1166 per dollar on Monday, compared to $168.29 million on Sunday.
It is worth highlighting that 17 banks participated in the CBI’s currency auction.
The amount sold in cash reached $70.25 million, while the amount sold as remittances stood at $135.31 million, reported the statement.
