Khalifa Fund to ink 2 deals to finance micro projects in Egypt
The Khalifa Fund for Enterprise Development is planning to sign two agreements to finance micro projects in Egypt. This will be done in the presence of Egypt’s Prime Minister Ibrahim Mehleb and Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber, minister of state of the UAE and its special envoy for energy and climate change.

The two deals will be signed on Monday morning, according to al Bayan newspaper. The first deal entails credit facilities to develop the micro-enterprise sector in Egypt. The deal will be signed by Egypt’s Minister of International Cooperation Dr. Naglaa Al Ahwany and Khalifa Fund Board Chairman Hussein Jassem Al Nowais.

The two agreements involve the implementation of an integrated series of micro developmental projects in Egypt, supervised by the UAE.

It is worth mentioning that Egypt plans to build the first industrial technical school at Al Bedary City in Assiut, Egypt, on a full-UAE grant.
