The stock of Egypt’s carpet manufacturer Oriental Weavers (OW) has soared on Thursday to its highest level since debut.
The stock jumped more than 2% to reach EGP 54.4.
Nearly 94.6 thousand shares in the company were exchanged in 134 transactions at above EGP 5 million.
The stock’s average target price was estimated by MubasherTrade at EGP 55.45.
The company had posted earlier a 10.6% rise in earnings for the first nine months of FY14 to EGP 322 million, compared with EGP 291 million in the same period a year earlier.
OW is targeting nearly EGP 100 million in fresh investments during 2015, the company’s chairman had told Mubasher exclusively.
