Banque du Liban has announced that it has issued new banknotes, starting from December 15, 2014, in addition to the existing Lebanese banknotes.

These banknotes are LBP 5,000 and LBP 10,000, with a new issuance date which is April 2014, reported Lebanon’s National News Agency.
