Egypt Kuwait Holding Co. (EK Holding) denied borrowing $6.8 billion, it said a bourse statement.

The statement came in response to Egypt's bourse query regarding a published news item which stated that EK Holding mulls getting financial facility to finance its investments at four petrochemical schemes.

The firm’s net profit totaled $51.4 million in 2014, compared to $42.2 million in 2013.
