Dubai – Mubasher: Emaar Hospitality Group, a subsidiary of Emaar Properties, said it has signed contracts in Nigeria and Bahrain with Abu Dhabi-based private investment firm Eagle Hills.

The new markets add to Emaar Hospitality Group’s existing international presence of flagship hotel brand – The Address Hotels + Resorts, in Turkey and Egypt, the company said on Monday at the Arabian Travel Market 2015 exhibition in Dubai.

Emaar Hospitality Group CEO Philippe Zuber said that the company’s management contracts to operate hotels and serviced residences in Nigeria and Bahrain, further bolsters its presence in Turkey and Egypt, and is a strong testament to its ability in delivering world-class hospitality services.

In Nigeria, The Address Hotels + Resorts will operate two properties, The Address Centenary City Abuja and The Address Residences Centenary City Abuja.

The hotel and residence projects are part of Centenary City, Abuja, a path-breaking development featuring an international commercial centre, The Mall of Nigeria and Africa Square and Tower, all of which are iconic destinations, the company’s statement said.

Meanwhile, in Bahrain, the five-star premium hotel brand will operate another two locations, The Address Marassi Al Bahrain and The Address Residences Marassi Al Bahrain, in addition to Vida Hotels and Resorts, a young brand launched by Emaar Hospitality Group for what the company describes as a new generation of tech-savvy entrepreneurs and professionals.

This marks the first international expansion of the Vida Hotels and Resorts brand, which currently operates two hotels in Dubai – Vida Downtown Dubai and Manzil Downtown Dubai.

All the projects are scheduled to open in 2018, according to the statement.
