Oman Air to drop gov’t subsidies by 2017 - CEO
Oman Air CEO Paul Gregorowitsh has announced that the Company has set an expansion scheme by which it can drop government subsidies and depend on its revenue as well as achieve profit by 2017. This plan is to be implemented through focusing on transits at Muscat International Airport, Oman newspaper reported quoting the CEO as saying, adding that the plan aims to boost transits by 10% to reach 70%.

In a press conference at Muscat’s Golden Tulip, Gregorowitsh stated that Oman Air conducted a full study and set a 10-year investment plan so that it no longer depends on government subsidies but can fully depend on its investments within three years.
