In its statement to the Muscat Securities Market (MSM), Al Anwar Holding announced to shareholders that the Oman Investment Fund (the buyer) has received approval from the Central Bank of Oman (CBO), published in Tuesday’s newspapers, to buy Al Anwar Holding’s entire stake in Taageer Finance.

This disclosure is a continuation to the last disclosure issued on August 5, 2014, the Company stated, adding that it is awaiting the formal approval from the CBO.

It is worth mentioning that the success of this transaction would record a profit of OMR 0.269 million in Al Anwar Holding’s financials as well as OMR 2.842 million in Al Anwar Holding’s Parent Company financials.

Al Anwar owns a 33.63% stake in Taageer Finance.
