Jordan ranks 10th in gold reserves
Jordan’s gold reserves attained 16.8 tons or 4.3% of the central bank’s total foreign reserves, listing Jordan in the 10th rank among Arab countries and in the 63th worldwide. The United States topped the list with 8133.5 tons, the highest amount of gold reserves.

On the Arab world level, Saudi Arabia came in first place, followed by Lebanon, Algeria, and Libya with 322.9 tons, 286.8 tons, 173.6 tons, and 116.6 tons, respectively.

In the fifth rank came Iraq, followed by Kuwait, Egypt, and Morocco.
