Kuwait, Oman top RAK trade exchange
The number of members in Ras Al Khaimah’s (RAK) Chamber of Commerce and Industry rose by 24% during the first half of 2014, Al Bayan reported, adding that the emirate’s commercial foreign trade reached significantly high levels, after imports from Kuwait reached AED 700 million, making Kuwait its top partner.

The Sultanate of Oman led re-exporting and imports, registering 92 of re-exports and 99% for imports, which prompted the Chamber to focus more on developing relations and boosting trade with the Sultanate. Moreover, the Chamber created a joint committee to facilitate and remove any commercial obstacles between the two parties.

On the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the RAK Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Yousef Al Neaimi, Chamber Chairman, highlighted that emirate seeks to adopt an ambitious economy that aims to achieve great successes.
