Oman’s gross domestic product (GDP) added 4.6% to record OMR 31.45 billion in 2014 , compared with OMR 30.06 billion in 2013 , according to the National Centre for Statistics and Information (NCSI).
The country's petroleum production fall 2.4% to reach OMR 14.84 billion in 2014 , against MOR 15.2 billion in 2013.
Crude oil contributed MOR 13.78 billion recording a decrease of 1.9% from MOR 14.04 billion in the previous year.
As for natural gas, it declined 8.5% to MOR 1.06 billion in 2014, against MOR 1.5 billion in the preceding year.
Meanwhile, the non-petroleum activities registered a total value of MOR 18.92 billion in 2014, arise by 10.1% from MOR 17.19 billion in 2013.
