The Palestine Exchange (PEX) lost 6.93 points or 1.35% this week to end at 505.67 points, compared to 512.62 points last week. The general index fell to 268.44 points against 271.71 last week, dropping by 1.20% or 3.27 points. Trading volume reached 6.6 million shares, at a turnover of $16.5 million.
The index hit a week high of 511.67 points, while it reached a week low of 505.67 points. Moreover, the general index hit a week high of 271.91 points, while it reached a week low of 266.90 points.
On the sectors level, the investment, the banks, the services and industrial indices dropped by 2.85%, 1.85%, 0.42% and 0.18% respectively, whereas the insurance index inched up by 0.24%.
