The Palestine Exchange (PEX) closed on Monday at 490.21 points, gaining 0.04% or 0.18 points. The general index inched up 0.03% or 0.08 points to 261.76 points.

Trading volume reached 108.75 THD shares, at a turnover of $266.39 THD, traded through 52 transactions by 10 companies, of which five gained, four dropped and one remained unchanged.

The top three gainers were: Arab Real Estate Establishment by 3.85%, the National Bank by 3.64%, and Jerusalem Cigarette Co by 1.2%. While, the top three decliners were Al Quds Bank by 1.06%, Palestine Electric Co by 0.87%, and Jerusalem Pharmaceuticals Co by 0.59%.

On the sectors level, the banking and financial, and the industry indices added 0.34% and 0.19% respectively, whereas the service index fell 0.18%. The insurance and the investment indices remained at their previous levels.
