The Palestine Exchange (PEX) closed on Thursday at 490.64 points, rising 0.78% or 3.81 points. The general index added 0.64% or 1.67 points to 261.92 points.
Trading volume reached 633,562 shares, at a turnover of around $579,669, traded through 144 transactions by 13 companies, of which six gained, three dropped and four remained unchanged.
The top three gainers were Wataniya Palestine Mobile Telecommunications by 4.48%, Palestinian Distribution and Logistics Services by 3.19%, and Palestine Development and Investment by 3.1%.
Meanwhile, the top three decliners were Al Iqaria Trading Investment Co by 4.17%, National Insurance Co by 1.64% and Bank of Palestine by 0.37%.
On the sectors level, the industry, the investment and the service indices recorded an increase of 0.11%, 1.87% and 0.87%, while the banking and financial, and the insurance indices fell 0.20% and 0.58%.
