Palestine’s exports rose 1.1% in October 2014 compared to September 2014, according to a press release issued by the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics (PCBS). Exports also added 6.8% to $76.5 million in October 2014 compared to figures from October 2013.

On the other hand, imports dropped by 6.8% in October 2014 compared to September 2014. Imports also inched down 0.1% to $394.5 million in October 2014 compared to the same period of 2013.

Palestine’s trade balance showed a decline in trade deficit by 1.6% to $318.0 million in October 2014 compared to October 2013. It also dropped 8.5% in October 2014 compared to September 2014.
