Kuwait crude up 21 cents to $ 105.14 pb
The price of Kuwaiti crude oil went up 21 cents to settle at USD 105.14 per barrel on Thursday compared to USD 104.93 pb the day before, Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) said Friday.

The increase came as US markets data showed positive signs with the Federal Reserve Board Chairwoman Janet Yellen affirming that the economy continues to improve but recovery is "not yet complete." Yellen told a Senate Banking Committee hearing "even with the recent declines, the unemployment rate remains above the Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC) participants' estimates of its longer-run normal level."

Last Monday, US crude oil prices hit USD 102.3 pb, recording the highest level of USD 102.44 pb and the lowest level of USD 101.46 pb.
