The inflation rate in Qatar was recorded at 3 percent in November of 2014 , said Qatar Statistics Authority. Inflation Rate in Qatar averaged 3.75% from 2005 until 2014, reaching an all time high of 16.59 percent in June of 2008 and a record low of -9.96 percent in December of 2009.
In Qatar, the main components of the Consumer Price Index (CPI) are; rent, fuel and energy (32.2%), transport and communication (20.5%), food, beverages and tobacco (13.2%), entertainment, recreation and culture (10.9%).
The index also includes; furniture, textiles and home appliances (8.2%), miscellaneous goods and services (7.2%), garments and footwear (5.8%), medical care and medical services (2%).
Notably ,the national index has a base of 100 as of 2007.
