Qatar Airways has announced in a recent statement that it has finalized an order of four Boeing 777 Freighters worth $1.24 billion, with purchase rights for four more aircrafts worth an additional cost of $1.22 billion.

Total investment in such order is worth $2.46 billion.

It is worth noting that Qatar Airways currently operates a fleet of 37 Boeing 777-300ERs and 777-200LRs, as well as seven 777 Freighters.

Furthermore, Boeing dominates more than 90% of the total air cargo capacities across the world.
