Doha-Mubasher: Qatar Exchange (QE) opened Thursday at a slight increase of 0.06% or 7.74 points to 12137.99 points following the first hour of trades.
Trading volume reached 1.85 million shares, at a turnover of QAR 128.74 million, traded through 1350 transactions.
Financial market analyst Ahmed Akl expected the profit-taking to continue pressuring on Qatar Exchange (QE) on Thursday, especially in the light of Doha Bank’s announcement for its annual dividend distribution.
The industrials sector led gainers, adding 0.57%, while the real estate sector rose by 0.29% and the banks and financial services sector inched up by 0.23%.
On the other hand, the services sector led losers, falling 0.78%.
