Doha-Mubasher: Qatar International Islamic Bank (QIIB) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with QNB Capital (QNBC) and Southwest Securities (SWSC), according to a filing to Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE).

QIIB said that the MoU aims to establish a strategic partnership between the three parties for three goals; the first of which is to develop the opportunities for the establishment of Shari’a compliant financing and investment in China.

The second goal is to support SWSC in entering the investor markets primarily in Qatar and the Middle East. The MoU also aims to help QIIB and QNBC accessing China’s market for financing and investments, either directly or indirectly.
