Doha-Mubasher: Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) opened Tuesday in green, backed by positive Q1 financials of leading listed companies.

QE index advanced 0.31% or 136.63 points by 9:30 am Qatar time to reach 11,952.39 points, after 3.6 million shares were traded at QAR 141.97 million through 2051 transactions.

The banks and financial services sector topped gainers by 0.74%, followed by the consumer goods and services, real estate and industrial sectors at 0.50%, 0.23% and 0.02% respectively.

The insurance sector led draggers by 0.09%, followed by the transportation and telecom sectors at 0.05% and 0.02% respectively.

Al Khalij Commercial Bank was the top riser by 4.74%, while Qatari Investors Group was the major loser by 1.53%.
