Doha-Mubasher: Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) ended in the green on Sunday, backed by a rise of 21 stocks, despite Thursday’s profit-taking.

QE index gained 0.25% or 30.56 points to reach 12,195.04 points. QE index Al Rayan Islamic index added 1.10% to close at 4,667.91 points, whereas QE All Share index rose 0.34% to 3,261.62 points.

Trading volume reached 7.1 million shares traded through 4,318 transactions, at a turnover of QAR 256.3 million.

The transportation sector gained 1.56%, followed by the consumer goods and services, industrials, and banks and financial services sectors at 1.23%, 0.66% and 0.06% respectively.

The insurance and telecom sectors fell 0.20% and 0.11%, respectively.

Gulf Warehousing Company led gainers by 9.88%, while the National Leasing Holding was the worst performer by 5.38%.
