Doha-Mubasher: Vodafone Qatar shareholders approved cash dividends representing 2.1% of the total capital at QAR 21 per share, according to a filing to the Qatar Stock Exchange.

At their ordinary general meeting, shareholders approved the board’s report on the telecom company’s activities and financial position for the fiscal year ended 31 March 2015 and also its future plans.

Vodafone shareholders gave the go-ahead for amending certain articles of association to comply with the Islamic sharia principles after obtaining the Qatar's ministry of economy and commerce’s approval.
