Doha-Mubasher: Doha Bank said it Thursday decided to issue additional Tier 1 capital instruments amounting to QAR 2 billion either directly or through a special purpose vehicle on 30 June 2015, as per terms of issuance set by the bank.

According to a bourse statement, the decision followed the extraordinary general meeting on 4 March 2015, according to a filing to the Qatar Stock Exchange.

The bank reported profits of QAR 420 million ($115.35 million) in the first quarter of 2015, compared to QAR 399 million ($109.59 million) in the same quarter of 2014.
