Mubasher: Qatar National Bank (QNB) stock moved lower till Thursday’s mid-session, snapping a bull run seen in the last three days.
The stock fell 0.37% or 0.70 point to reach QAR 187.80, after 39,860 shares were exchanged in 80 trades at turnover reaching QAR 7.5 million.
The bank said Wednesday that net earnings rose 9% in the first nine months of 2015 to QAR 8.7 billion ($2.39 billion), up from QAR 8 billion ($2.2 billion) in the same period a year ago.
Earnings per share (EPS) amounted to QAR 12.5, compared with QAR 11.4 in the first nine months of 2014.
The bank’s customer deposits rose by 8.9% to QAR 381 billion from QAR 350 billion, while loans and advances increased by 11.6% to QAR 367 billion from QAR 329 billion.
