Mubasher: Financial analysts have expected that GCC stock markets will witness a negative performance at the outset of trading this week, namely after Saudi Arabia declared military intervention in Syria.

Portfolio managers are likely to liquidate at a net realizable value, although they tended to selectively purchase during the late period, encouraged by the promising annual results and distributions of the leading companies, said Hamoud Al-Shammari.

Along with political updates, the decline, from which global markets and oil industry suffer, will leave its side effects on the region’s indices as well, stated Ibrahim Al Failakawi.

The analyst, Mahmoud Abu Zeid, advises investors to make quick speculations as well as to make use of market rebound for liquidating, trimming losses, and rebuilding positions in portfolios.
