Sharm El-Sheikh – Mubasher: Saudi Arabia will continue to support stability and development in Egypt, said Prince Muqrin bin Abdul-Aziz Al-Saud, Saudi Arabia’s crown prince and deputy prime minister.

The crown prince is heading the kingdom’s delegation to Egypt’s economic summit that will kick off on Friday in the Red Sea resort of Sharm El-Sheikh during 13-15 March, under the theme of “Egypt the Future”.

Last year Saudi Arabia initiated a call for such an economic conference to support Egypt’s economy. Saudi Arabia’s late monarch King Abdullah called for Egypt to host a donor conference to prop up its economy shortly after the inauguration of Egypt’s President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi in June 2014.

Saudi finance minister Ibrahim Al-Assaf, said the Saudi private sector is showing great interest in Egypt investments, adding that there will be a strong participation by Saudi investors in the summit.
