Virgin Mobile Middle East & Africa has introduced the first Mobile Virtual Network Operator (MVNO) in Saudi Arabia, paving the way for more MVNO expansions across the Middle East and Africa, according to Arab News.
Virgin Mobile launched the MVNO model to the region, with the launch of its successful Oman business in 2009.
Accordingly, Saudi Arabia is the fifth state in which Virgin Mobile has opened, after Oman, Jordan, South Africa and Malaysia, cementing its position as regional MVNO leader and one of the fastest-growing regional telecom groups.
