Qassim Cement posted net earnings of nearly SAR 109 million, falling 4.94% from nearly SAR 115 million in Q3 2013, and 32.32% from approx. SAR 161 million in Q2 2014.
The nine-month net earnings neared SAR 429 million, falling 4.48% from almost SAR 449 million in year-earlier period.
The earnings per share (EPS) also decreased from SAR 4.99 to SAR 4.77.
The cement producer ascribed the profit decline in Q3 and nine months to the fall in the value and volume of sales driven by lower demand of cement.
