The total earnings of Saudi Arabia’s listed banks reached SAR 8200 million ($2187 million) in the third quarter of 2014, rising 10.6% compared with SAR 7413 million ($1977 million) in the year-ago period.
However, the combined earnings of the 11 listed lenders declined by 5.54% quarter-on-quarter from SAR 8681 million ($2315 million).
The nine-month combined earnings increased 8.03% to nearly SAR 24937 million ($6650 million) compared with SAR 23083 million ($6155 million) in the same period of last year.
