Karim Benkirane, chief executive of Virgin Mobile Saudi, said Saudi Telecom Co. (STC) owns 10% of his company according to a strategic partnership agreement between the two firms.
Benkirane indicated that the partnership allows Virgin Mobile to use the networks and towers of STC, Al-Yaum website reported.
He expressed hope that his company would acquire a strong market share in Saudi Arabia despite the fierce competition.
STC’s infrastructure will strongly help develop Virgin Mobile’s services and products, Benkirane said.
