Abdel Wahab Afifi, Egypt’s Ambassador to Saudi Arabia expected all disputes with Saudi investors operating in Egypt to be resolved before holding the upcoming economic conference scheduled in February.
This comes as part of the Egyptian government’s efforts to boost its investment climate. Prime Minister Ibrahim Mehleb has given instructions to speed up the solution and settlement of any disputes with Saudi investors.
Afifi told Al Iqtisadiya that the Egyptian Ministry of Trade settled several disputes with Saudi investors.
Meanwhile, Minister of Investment Ashraf Salman stressed two days ago that the unified investment law will be finalized in two months.
The law will achieve radical changes to the investment climate and will boost the economic growth.
