Saudi United Cooperative Insurance Co. (Walaa Insurance) decided to withdraw the capital increase request it submitted to the Capital Market Authority (CMA) to make the required amendments, the company said in a bourse statement.
The insurer added that it will submit the request upon completing these amendments.
Walaa had earlier announced obtaining the approval of Saudi Arabian Monetary Agency (SAMA) on increasing capital by SAR 200 million through offering rights issue shares.
