AlJazira Capital said in a report that cement sales in Saudi Arabia rose in November compared with October, ascribing the increase to stronger construction activities, which boosted demand.
Sales of Saudi cement companies amounted to 5.1 million ton in November, with a 39.4% increase compared with 3.65 million ton in October.
November cement sales are the biggest since May, AlJazira noted.
Sales reached 51.59 million ton in the first eleven months of FY14, with a 1.5% rise from 50.93 million ton.
