The National Gas & Industrialization Company (GASCO) said all of its branches are producing the same quantity of cylinders at normal rates.
Some media reports had said there were signs of a gas supply crisis in Jeddah, according to Al-Jazirah newspaper.
The company said it has already made arrangements to receive alternative quantities of gas from Aramco’s oil distribution facilities in Qatif.
Because of the maintenance works in Yanbu refinery, Aramco has made such arrangements in advance to offset the decline in gas supply from Yanbu refinery, but the gas trucks coming from the Eastern Province arrived late due to the massive fog that swept the Province in the morning, last week. Accordingly, the gas supply to Jeddah stations were eight hours late.
