Riyadh-Mubasher: Tadawul All-Share Index (TASI) reversed its upward trend, falling 0.26% to close Wednesday at 9462.59 points.
The market was pressured most by the real estate and petrochemical industries sectors which dropped 2.41% and 0.33% respectively.
Turnover reached SAR 7.4 billion, generated from the exchange of more than 253.4 million shares through over 121.000 trades.
The banking and petrochemical industries sectors dominated 34.3% of the market's liquidity.
Nine sectors closed in the red, led by real estate development and insurance which dipped 2.41% and 1.39% respectively.
Meanwhile, five sectors closed in the green, topped by hotels and tourism which climbed 3.27% and industrial investment which rose 1.53%.
Out of the 160 stocks traded today, decliners outnumbered advancers by 80 to 58, while 22 kept unchanged.
Dallah Health Care was the best performer of the day, leaping 4.37% to SAR 144.25. Meanwhile, Arabia Insurance was the worst performer, diving 4.50%.
