Cairo-Mubasher: The US oil futures diverged on Friday, as Brent hit fresh highs amid the continued air strikes in Yemen, while crude declined, hurt by worries about inventory increase.

The Brent rose by 43 cents to $65.28 per barrel, increasing its weekly gains by 3%.

Meanwhile, the crude declined by 57 cents to $57.15 per barrel, shrinking its weekly gains.

The crude rose nearly $10 per barrel in April amid increasing worries in the Middle East and slow US production.

The oil prices are almost 45% lower than their level in summer 2014.
