Riyadh-Mubasher: Saudi Arabia's Petro Rabigh began unscheduled maintenance work on its vacuum distillation unit (VDU), which is expected to run until 10 May, the company said in a bourse statement on Sunday.

The petrochemical producer added that the impact of the work on its financials was unclear and would be announced later.

"We cannot currently pinpoint the financial effect accurately due to the changing prices of products and the need to make sure of maintenance needs," Petro Rabigh said.
