Specialized Trading and Investments Co announced that its losses declined during the first half of 2014 by 31% to JOD 33.1 thousand compared with JOD 48.6 thousand during the same period of last year.
According to the company’s financial statements, earnings per share decreased to JOD 0.011 during the first half of 2014 from JOD 0.016 during the first half of 2013.
Total sale profits contributed to decrease the company’s losses significantly by 1.3%. Total sales during the first half of 2014 reached JOD 72.2 thousand against JOD 35.5 thousand during the same period of the last year.
It is worth mentioning that the company’s losses increased during the second quarter of 2014 by 35% to JOD 27.1 thousand against JOD 20 thousand during the same period of 2013.
