Saleh Al Awaji, Deputy Director General of the Department of Zakat and Income Tax, said the total tax revenues from oil companies operating in Saudi Arabia amounted to SAR 750 billion last year.
He indicated that taxes reach 85% of the revenues of companies upon completion of projects, according to Al-Yaum newspaper.
Al Awaji indicated that the oil and gas companies pay up to 85% as taxes on their exports.
