The benchmark index of Jordan bourse closed Thursday’s session steady at 2118.79 points, which is considered the same close of yesterday’s session.

Out of 128 companies participated in trading, 54 rose, 34 declined and the others remained unchanged.

Total of 10.1 million shares were traded through 3281 transactions at a turnover of JOD 6.4 million.

As for the sectors, the industrial sector increased by 0.39%, the financial index rose by 0.07% and the services index increased by 0.07%.

The top three gainers were the Yarmouk Insurance by 6.96%, Societe Generale De Banque - Jordanie by 6.84% and Resources Company For Development And Investment Plc by 6.67%.

On the other hand, the top three losers were Ubour Logistic Services Plc by 5.00%, Jordan Poultry Processing & Marketing by 4.55% and Specialized Jordanian Investment by 4.44%.

It should be noted that yesterday, the benchmark index rose by 0.18% adding 3.81 points and closed at 2118.86 points.
